The Play Leaders in our school play a crucial role in ensuring that children have a safe, fun, and engaging environment during break times. Here are some key responsibilities

Organising Activities: Our Play Leaders plan and lead a variety of games and activities that encourage physical activity and social interaction among children                            

Promoting Inclusion: They ensure that all children, regardless of their abilities, can participate in activities, fostering a sense of inclusion and community

Developing Leadership Skills: Our Year 5 Play Leaders roles encourage children to develop  leadership, communication, and organisational skill

Supporting Staff: Our Play Leaders assist playground staff by managing playground activities, which helps reduce incidents of bullying and inappropriate behaviour.

Encouraging Healthy Lifestyles: By promoting active play, our Play Leaders help children adopt healthier lifestyles and improve their overall well-being.
